CartoConsult are proud to announce that Urban Design and Landscape Architect company. Novell Tullett have appointed CartoConsult as their GIS partner for the Didcot Green Infrastructure Strategy project which is being undertaken for South & Vale.
CartoConsult will develop a bespoke version of Carto3D™ to visualise the critical planning data that Novell Tullett need to make reliable decisions and represent their study in an easy to understand digital interactive map.
GIS data from the South Oxfordshire and Vale of the White Horse will be used alongside Ordnance Survey, Natural England and Historic England GIS datasets. The map will show data such as Sites of Special Scientific Interest, Land Boundaries, Water networks and Landscape Character amongst many others.
Tim Hughes, MD, states, “We are really looking forward to developing Carto3D™ for Novell Tullet’s Didicot Green Infrastructure Strategy. We have undertaken a lot of work for Landscape Architects across the UK, but this is an exciting first for Carto3D™ and we know it will provide a great case study for other Urban Design and Landscape Architect companies who would like to start using GIS, but in a much simpler, less complex form. We will be arming Novell Tullett with just the tools and data they need, delivered only through a web browser, with no specialist software needed”.
This news comes after the announcement that Carto3D™ has had its trademark submission accepted.
